Use of This Website

The content of this website is provided for general information about East African Solutions, its experience, services, methodologies and areas of interest. It is not intended to address the circumstances of any particular person or organisation and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.

Although reasonable care is taken in preparing and maintaining the website, East African Solutions does not warrant that its content will always be complete, current, accurate or available. Commercial, legal, regulatory and economic conditions may change after material is published.

Nothing on this website creates a consultant–client relationship, contractual commitment, fiduciary relationship, partnership, agency or other professional duty. An engagement begins only when the relevant parties have entered into a written agreement.

Strategic and Financial Information

East African Solutions provides independent strategic and commercial advisory services. It does not manage client funds, hold assets on behalf of clients, execute investment transactions or provide regulated investment, legal, tax or accounting advice.

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, invitation, financial promotion or recommendation to acquire, dispose of or hold any investment or financial instrument. References to businesses, projects, financing requirements or investment outcomes are provided solely to describe EAS’s experience or the nature of its work.

Anyone requiring regulated financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice should consult a suitably qualified and, where applicable, authorised professional adviser.

Past project outcomes do not guarantee that comparable results will be achieved in another engagement. Every business, asset, market and opportunity is subject to its own circumstances and risks.

Client Engagements

All professional services are governed by the relevant proposal, engagement letter or other written agreement. That agreement will address matters including scope, responsibilities, fees, payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, termination, liability and dispute resolution.

Where there is any conflict between this website and a signed engagement agreement, the signed engagement agreement will govern the relevant client relationship.

East African Solutions may decide whether to accept a proposed engagement following its assessment of capacity, suitability, conflicts, compliance considerations and other relevant circumstances, subject to applicable law.

Any entitlement to cancellation, reimbursement or refund will be determined by the applicable engagement agreement and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, branding, methodologies, frameworks, graphics, diagrams, documents and other original material on this website are owned by or licensed to East African Solutions Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

This includes material relating to the East African Solutions Framework, Investment Staples, Influence Mapping, Creating Enduring Enterprise Value, EASily180 and Optimali.

You may view, download or print reasonable extracts for personal reference or legitimate internal business evaluation. Brief quotations may be used with clear attribution to East African Solutions and a link to the relevant webpage.

You may not, without prior written permission:

  • reproduce or republish substantial parts of the website;

  • modify or commercially exploit its content;

  • present EAS material as your own;

  • reproduce or adapt EAS methodologies, frameworks or visual materials; or

  • remove copyright, attribution or proprietary notices.

No website content is released into the public domain merely because it is publicly accessible.

Client information and client-owned intellectual property are handled in accordance with the relevant engagement agreement, confidentiality obligations and applicable law. Any non-circumvention obligation must be expressly agreed in writing.

Limitation of Website Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, East African Solutions Ltd will not be liable for loss arising solely from access to, inability to access or reliance upon general information contained on this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These website limitations do not replace or amend the liability provisions contained in a signed client engagement agreement.
