UNITED KINGDOM

International House, 36-38 Cornhill, City of London, London, EC3V 3NG, UNITED KINGDOM

Located in the heart of the City of London, a global financial and business hub, our office sits close to many decision-makers and stakeholders involved in foreign direct investment (FDI) into East Africa. The UK is the largest source of FDI into Kenya and Tanzania, the second largest into Malawi and Uganda, and the third largest into Zambia, while being the sixth largest source into Rwanda. Many of these investment decisions are made near our Cornhill office, which is in proximity to the Royal Exchange, a historically significant commercial and trading centre.

Coincidentally, given the work we’ve done in the coffee sector, Cornhill is also home to London’s first coffee house, The Jamaica Wine House, established in 1652. This coffee was originally sourced from The Ottoman Empire, with some originating from East Africa, linking our location with a piece of regional history.
